John 10:9 – “I am the gate. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will come in and go out and find pasture.”
Jesus is the only entrance to becoming the true flock of God. Jesus is the Only Salvation and no other Entrance exists! Jesus uses the words “come in and go out” purposely because they convey the covenant blessing language found in Deuteronomy 28:6 and Numbers 27:16-18.
This speaks to the true freedom, provision and sustenance for those that belong to the LORD. Jesus teaches us here that it is only through Him that we may become the flock of God, receiving all the rights and privileges as His people.
